As we enter the new year, I would like to share several important updates and reminders to help you maximize your care with Orchid Wellness.

• MyOrchidWellness App Now Available:

Our MyOrchidWellness app is now live and available on both Apple and Android devices. The app allows you to schedule appointments, access telehealth visits, manage your wellness journey, shop, and stay connected with our clinic more easily than ever. • New Telehealth Scheduling Option:

We are pleased to offer a separate telehealth scheduling option at telehealth.myorchidwellness.com. This platform is designed specifically for patients who prefer or need appointments outside of regular business hours.

• Appointments scheduled through this site are telehealth only
• Payment is required at the time of scheduling

This option allows us to expand access while maintaining the quality and structure of care you expect.

• New Technology Added to Our Practice
  We have added Styku body scanning technology to enhance body composition tracking and progress monitoring for weight management and body sculpting patients. This allows for more precise, visual, and data-driven care.
• Appointment and Medication Refill Reminder
  Medication refills require an active clinical encounter. I do not refill medications without first having a conversation with you. This ensures safe, effective, and appropriate care. Please schedule visits in advance to avoid delays or interruptions in treatment.
• Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Monitoring at Home
  All patients are strongly encouraged to have a blood pressure machine at home. This is an essential part of basic home first aid and allows for better monitoring and management of your health between visits.

• For patients with blood sugar concerns, including diabetes or prediabetes, regular glucose checks are an important part of your wellness journey. If you use a continuous glucose monitor such as Dexcom or FreeStyle Libre, please share your readings with us using the clinic name OrchidWellness.

• Billing and Account Balance Reminder
  Timely payment of balances is essential to maintaining care with Orchid Wellness and allows us to continue offering personalized, high-quality services. A significant portion of the care we provide is not reimbursed by insurance, and outstanding balances directly impact our ability to operate, staff appropriately, and expand services.
  We offer multiple payment options to provide ease and flexibility, and we ask that balances be addressed promptly. Keeping accounts current helps prevent delays in scheduling, refills, and ongoing care coordination. If you have questions about your balance or need to discuss payment options, our team is happy to assist.
• Provider Name Update
  You may notice a change in my name across communications, prescriptions, and documentation. My legal and professional name is now Chelsea Amoafi Asante. There is no change to ownership, services, or the care you receive.
• MySWANS™ Book and Companion Journal Now Available
  I am excited to share that my book, MySWANS™: A Graceful Return to You. A Whole-Person Guide to Returning to Your Natural Self, is now available. This book reflects the same whole-person philosophy we use in care at Orchid Wellness and introduces the MySWANS™ framework for sustainable wellness. SWANS stands for Sleep, Water, Activity, Nutrition and Stress Management and ‘My’ refers to the personal nature of every wellness journey
