Telehealth visits for patients in New York, Virginia, and Washington DC are self-pay. We do not bill insurance for out-of-state telehealth visits at this time. However, we can provide a detailed superbill after your visit that you may submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans do cover out-of-network telehealth, so it is worth checking with your insurer.
A superbill is an itemized receipt containing all the diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim. You submit it directly to your insurer yourself. To request a superbill after your visit, email info@myorchidwellness.com or ask at check-out. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan's out-of-network benefits.
Applying for Cherry financing uses a soft credit pull, which does not affect your credit score. A hard inquiry may occur only if you are approved and proceed with a financed payment plan. Yes. HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards are accepted for eligible healthcare services at Orchid Wellness. Most primary care, telehealth, and clinical services qualify. Cosmetic or aesthetic services may not be HSA or FSA eligible. Check with your plan administrator if you are unsure about a specific service.
Lab fees are separate from visit fees. For insured patients, labs may be billed to your insurance plan directly by the lab. For self-pay patients, lab costs will be discussed with you before any orders are placed. Chelsea does not order testing without reviewing anticipated costs with you first.
