Anxiety And Depression

At Orchid Wellness, mental health is equally as important as physical health. We understand that certain physical presentations can improve once mental health improves. That is why we provide treatment and management of anxiety and depression as part of the care we provide. We work with a number of mental health professionals who provide psychotherapy to our patients in addition to psychotropic medications to help get to the root cause of your symptoms and to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that seeks to answer the questions that may be contributing to your anxiety and depression. Prior to the start of any medication, we always make sure there is no organic reason for your anxiety and depression such as thyroid dysfunction, vitamin deficiencies or blood disorders. Every patient in our practice over the age of 10 gets screened for depression and anxiety at least once a year to ensure that we are providing you with the help that you need, should you need it. Our treatment of anxiety and depression involves:

  • Medication management
  • Referral to a mental health professional
